Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands Tall and Sturdy I love the way the Stand Tall Insert improves an already great product,the Large Utility Tote! They both can be folded flat when not in use. Totes that are filled may stand up well on their own, then fold flat when the items are removed. That's great! But for totes whose contents frequently change, it helps to have the quality insert to hold the tote's shape. A great design idea. Functions well. I sometimes have trouble with the snaps that hold it in place, but I have arthritis. I'd suggest that there could be totes made with permanent structure, but the disadvantage would be that you couldn't fold it flat for storage.

Should really think about having these available to order all the time! Now only medium available :-( Will keep my eye out for large ones to come back!

I see some not so great reviews here, but as long as you don't crush them with something super heavy, they last forever! Love them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really??? I bought this for my totes to keep in the back of my car. It definitely is a low low quality. It’s bent and won’t hold the tote up after only a couple gentle uses. The price is crazy for this, as others have said, piece of cardboard. Super disappointed in thirty-one on this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over priced I got one awhile back and so far it works ok, but I have made something similar for way less... I mean they cost more than the tote. Definitely should just come with the tote in the first place. The toppers are really nice and priced somewhat fair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible quality This honestly should come with the tote however since it didn't I purchased one and now regret it. It's a flimsy piece of cardboard wrapped in fabric. Bought to keep it in my utility tote that I keep in the back of my vehicle. After a few short months of use it's already misshapen and no longer serves a purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makes a great tote even better. I can not figure out why the inserts are so expensive. I buy them when on sale but even the sale price is more than I believe this product is worth. Insert should not be priced higher than the bag that it fits in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful, first version was better I have a bunch of these, one per LUT and a few extras. The first version, with pockets on both sides and three snaps per side, was better than the current version.The snaps are hard to line up and close on both versions, but the three-snap version is less likely to come apart, which happens occasionally with the two-snap version. Either way, these are a NECESSITY for LUTs!

I agree this is too expensive and should come with the utility totes. They fall down without them. Great for storing away though. I just bought a another large utility tote, now in need of one of these. But waiting for a special on one. Cost to much.

I've been wanting some of these for a long time because I want the stability in my totes, but haven't ordered because they don't coordinate. How about brown, green, purple, yellow, gray????

The old one seems to fit in the bag better, has interior pockets on both sides and seems to be sturdier. Obviously it will still work and I will still use it but I wish it was like the older one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A MUST! For my purposes this insert made my large utility tote usable. I purchased the tote years ago, used it once and put it in the closet. It flopped and folded and would not keep items contained in the bag. The insert was not available at the time of the purchase of the large tote. After the insert the tote now stands on its own and is a really good carryall. I personally think the utility tote should always be sold with the insert. The insert is worth the money if someone has the tote stored and not in use, for the same reason stated. Of course there is the problem that the insert is an expensive item just to fix problems with the original purchase.
